Auction management can be stressful and challenging, but when done correctly, auctions can be transformative for an event. They provide an opportunity to not only raise funds, but showcase the client’s mission while engaging current and prospective donors, volunteers, sponsors, media, and the community. A successful auction has many moving pieces and that is why CGC provides a perfect blend of experience, technology, and creativity to ensure that an auction successfully accomplishes the client’s goals. In 2016 alone, CGC raised nearly $40,000 through silent/live auctions and live appeals.

HOW CGC CAN HELP →

CGC will provide a one-year subscription of our preferred event management software to ease the administrative burden of managing client’s fundraising campaigns. Client’s subscription will give access to the following services: online fundraising, event ticketing, bid sheets, tables and seating, and online auction capabilities.

CGC will provide mobile bidding and auction functionality that simplifies all aspects of a client’s silent and live auction. Guests can register from their mobile devices and the client will capture the information for express checkout. The mobile bidding platform creates a competitive bidding atmosphere as texts and outbid notifications are sent automatically.

CGC will provide dynamic content to be utilized for the auction website, event marketing materials, and email marketing opportunities, along with a clear strategy on how to use the content to grow attendee engagement.

CGC will provide client with an on-site auction management expert the day of the event. The client’s event day support will include the following: management of auction registration, day-of check-in and check-out, training of day-of event volunteers, event day text communication, and the opening and closing of the auction.

CGC will provide the client with post-auction event reporting and analytics and will work alongside the client to develop a post event strategy for all unsold items and to ensure that all attendees receive the items that they’ve won.

Support offered at an additional cost includes travel to events, auctioneer/emcee duties.
