Amanda Kearney-Smith’s Bio: As CGC’s lead for foundation relationships, Amanda draws on more than 20 years of nonprofit experience to serve clients. Before supporting nonprofits with grant development, governance, and board engagement, she founded and led a statewide mental health organization, developing programs that served thousands each year. Her early career included managing public funding for homeless services and teaching college psychology. A lifelong volunteer, she currently serves as Vice President of the board of The Aspen Effect, a youth-serving mental health organization. Amanda holds a Master of Science in Developmental Psychology from Illinois State University. Originally from Illinois, she now lives in Monument, Colorado, with her husband, Jeff, and their furry children.
